Neuroaffirming and trauma-informed

At Be You OT, you can settle into a space that honours your unique way of thinking, sensing and being. Kimmy’s approach is calm, collaborative and considerate. You’ll be supported to reflect on what you need and progress in a way that feels right for you.

Find support that meets your needs

  • Occupational therapy for neurodivergent women

Access online occupational therapy tailored for late-identified neurodivergent women across Australia. Recover from and prevent autistic burnout, learn ways to unmask safely and cultivate a sustainable lifestyle that meets your needs.

  • Professional supervision for OTs

Benefit from a therapeutic approach to supervision, where your wellbeing is prioritised alongside your clinical practice. As a trained and highly experienced supervisor, Kimmy helps you stay aligned with the Australian OT competency standards while supporting your growth as a clinician.

  • Supervision for internationally-trained OTs

Moving to Australia and seeking full AHPRA registration? Kimmy supervises internationally-trained OTs from pre-arrival through to full registration — with clear processes, experienced guidance and a supportive approach to make the journey as smooth and enriching as possible.

Benefit from a highly skilled practitioner

Kimmy Lane founded Be You OT in early 2020 to provide evidence-informed approaches that are kind, gentle and transformative. Kimmy has been a practitioner for over 20 years and has prioritised extensive ongoing learning during this time.

As an AuDHD woman, Kimmy brings lived experience to her clinical work — understanding firsthand what it means to cultivate a nourishing and fulfilling life as a late-identified neurodivergent person.

Kimmy's practice is LGBTIQ+ aware and affirming.

This is the right space for you if:

You've recently been identified (or self-identified) as autistic and/or with ADHD, and you're looking for support to understand yourself with the new awareness of your neurotype.

You’re in autistic burnout and you’re looking for support to recover.

A history of trauma sits alongside your neurodivergence, and you want a clinician who can support you with both.

Anxiety and nervous system dysregulation make it hard to feel calm or settled in your body, and you're looking for a clinician experienced in somatic therapy.

You'd like to understand the ways you mask — when it serves you, when it costs you, and how to unmask safely and on your own terms.

You experience challenges with interoception and/or alexithymia (difficulty noticing body signals or identifying emotions) and you'd like support to understand your own language of feeling, so you can better recognise and meet your needs.

Sensory distress and executive functioning overwhelm affect you more than most people realise, and you'd like support to minimise the distress and overwhelm you’re experiencing.
