Common questions about occupational therapy
-
Be You OT is a registered provider with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). NDIA managed, plan managed and self-managed NDIS participants can access our services.
-
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has not increased benchmark prices for occupational therapy services for several years despite the rising costs of running a business. While we are unable to change the rates for agency and plan managed clients, we have an increased rate for private and self-managed NDIS clients to reflect the quality of our service provision and the costs associated with running an allied health business.
-
We are not currently registered with private health insurance providers. While we aim to provide an exceptional quality of service, you will not be able to claim for our services through your private health insurance fund.
-
Yes, you can use Medicare if you have a current GP-issued Chronic Disease Management Plan. The current Medicare rebate is $56 per appointment, so your out-of-pocket costs are $144 per session.
