fulfilment
Engaging in activities that matter most to you contributes to wellbeing. Kimmy supports you to close the gap between what you want to do and what you currently do in your daily routine. By prioritising functional outcomes that bring purpose and joy, occupational therapy can help you cultivate a life that feels fulfilling and aligned with who you are and who you are becoming.
It’s important to Kimmy that you feel honoured, understood and supported while you focus on your aspirations through occupational therapy.
OT sessions are designed to support you in acquiring new knowledge and skills, while creating a contented life full of purpose, joy and accomplishment as you engage in activities that align with who you are and what you desire for your life.

Kimmy doesn’t believe in forcing change or moulding you to fit systems that weren’t designed for autistic women. Instead, she supports you to tune into what feels right for you.
Kimmy listens carefully to understand your core values and needs, moves at your pace and honours the complexity of your lived experience.
Kimmy’s approach to occupational therapy is beautifully enriched by her lived experience as a late identified autistic woman. She supports women to unmask, regulate, rest, express and redesign a lifestyle that’s nurturing and fulfilling.

Common questions about occupational therapy
-
Be You OT has lodged a request with the NDIS Commission to voluntarily revoke its NDIS registration to enable the implementation of a gap fee and thus minimise the adverse impacts of the NDIS’s continuing price freeze. When the NDIS Commission has actioned this, the gap fee will be introduced with 7 days’ notice for existing clients and immediately for new clients.
-
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has maintained a price freeze for occupational therapy services for several years despite the rising costs of running a business. A co-payment will be charged to reflect the increasing costs associated with running an allied health business and the quality of Kimmy’s therapeutic skill
