Unmasking 1

the more I surrender into my

natural ways of processing and expressing myself,

and the less I conform to

ways that stifle me,

the easier it is for me to

communicate 

truthfully.

The blog on my website

didn’t feel like me.

I replaced it with my journal

(written in verse, of course)

instead.

It’s not that I’m thinking stuff it,

it’s that my way of being

is no longer curated 

for the approval 

of others.
